Megan McCaskill has over 20 years’ experience in retail pharmacy and has been the Pharmacy-in-Charge since its opening. Mrs. McCaskill received her Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science from the University of Rhode Island. Since graduating she has worked in many different areas of pharmacy including retail pharmacy as well emergency and disaster planning at the local and state level. Mrs. McCaskill started with Horizon Pharmacy having a strong managerial background and long history of customer service. She has built a cohesive, positive and energetic staff at Horizon Pharmacy. In addition, she is a leader in emergency and disaster planning at the local, state, and national level, beginning with her time volunteering in New Orleans dispensing medication in the Superdome after Hurricane Katrina
Francis L. "Butch" Paranzino, MSW, LICSW
President
Francis L. Paranzino, MSW, LICSW, has devoted his career to the improvement of mental health services in Rhode Island with his expertise in project development and deep understanding of mental health systems. Mr. Paranzino received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island and his Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College. For 15 years, he served as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Newport County Community Mental Health Center, now known as Newport Mental Health, before founding Horizon Pharmacy in 2014.
